Over 400 cadets from across the capital competed in drill, first aid and fieldcraft stands over a hot August weekend.
Squadrons from all five sectors gathered for the annual Field Day, with judges praising the standard of turnout across the board. Wing staff have already confirmed the 2027 date.

Flying & Gliding
A record intake from London Wing completed the Gliding Scholarship course this summer, with three going solo.
Cadets travelled to the Volunteer Gliding Squadron for a fortnight of intensive training. Three cadets achieved solo flight, earning the coveted blue wings.

The London Wing Band will once again lead the cadet contingent through central London this November.
Rehearsals begin in September at the wing HQ, open to any cadet who plays a brass or percussion instrument. Beginners are welcome.
